  1. I don’t know about this photo… my eyes look like I was standing too close to the fireworks that night. Truth be told, I was super close to the fireworks on the mall. The federal reserve building opened it’s balcony to employees and served hot dogs, pizza and ice cream. Yum. Oliver thought the fireworks were too loud, but enjoyed them after I covered his ears.

  2. I thought it was funny that Bhutan had exhibits on 20 different cultural arts and crafts and Texas had just five tents– two for country music groups and three for food (mexican, bbq, and chinese.) We miss you Coopers!

  3. Perhaps you were too close to the fireworks, but it didn’t hurt your pie making abilities. That was one of the best cherry pies that I’ve ever had. Mmmmm, mmmmm, good!
